2012 Student Writing Competition - Call for Papers International
The ASIS Council on Academic Programs’ Writing Competition
rewards students who write an academic paper between 3,000 and 6,000 words on an issue relevant to the security and asset protection field. The competition is open to any associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree student enrolled in a college or university during the 2012 academic year.
Since it is not limited to students only in security programs, our ASIS members may have family and friends who are students and they can also participate!

9-11 RETROSPECTIVE
Join Host Laura Spadanuta as she takes a look back at the terrorist attacks of 9-11 and the security changes over the last decade. Welcome to the 80th edition of EuroDynamics! The ASIS International EMEA Bureau would like to encourage members to submit updates or articles you wish to share with the ASIS International members in Europe!


The call for presentation for the ASIS 11th European Security Conference & Exhibition, which will take place in London on 15-17 April 2012, is open. The deadline for submissions is 15 September 2011.

The 2012 Conference & Exhibition will kick off on Sunday 15 April with the President's Reception. Over the following 2 days, delegates will be able to attend 33 high-level educational sessions divided over 3 parallel tracks. In addition, the conference will feature 3 keynote presentations.

The 11th European Security Conference & Exhibition will also include:

  • Sessions on certification, convergence and standards;
  • Sessions for Chief Security Officers (CSOs) organised by the CSO Roundtable of ASIS International;
  • An enlarged exhibition featuring the latest in security technology and services;
  • Unrivalled networking opportunities at the President's Reception, business lunches and networking breaks.

Abstracts on all security related topics are welcome. Topics of particular interest are: supply chain security, loss prevention, hotel security, intellectual property, maritime piracy, terrorism, executive protection, internal theft and fraud, competitive intelligence, brand protection, physical security, cyber security, investigations, due diligence and global business issues.

Abstracts for presentations can be submitted through www.asisonline.org/london. Presentation slots are 50 minutes and should include time for Q&A. Only English-language presentations will be accepted.
